Gamakatsu
No other hook is sharper than a Gamakatsu; chemically sharpening creates an ultra sharp polished conical point. Seaguar
Seaguar’s fluorocarbon lines are regarded as the most innovative in the industry. These high performance lines have a light refractive index very close to water, so when placed in water they become invisible to fish. Seaguar lines also have:
- resistance to abrasion;
- resistance to UV;
- high tensile strength; and
- water resistance (absorption of water can reduce line strength by 30%).
Zest
The Japanese style of jigging has taken Asia, Europe, Oceania and the US by storm with large game fish and bottom fish taken by long jigs. It is a proven fact that Zest’s longer style jigs (or irons) attract larger fish. These long jigs mimic large baitfish, which are more attractive to predatory fish. Predators will always choose to attack a larger baitfish, to take a bigger meal.
All Zest jigs come with a factory fitted Assist Hook, incorporating a 200lb welded ring and split ring with a protected high strength Kevlar strap. (These Assist Hooks are available separately).

Jigging Master
Jigging Master is a world brand by AG of Taiwan. Their JM rods are some of the best jigging rods available and we are proud to bring this range to you. The JM rods are typified by their 5' short lenght, parabolic tapers and high strenght. Most of our JM rod range are for overhead (conventional) reels, but we also have some heavier rods for spinning reels. Top of the range is the PowerSpell rod while the JM Terminator rods are much lower priced but almost the equal of the premium Power Spell .
We have the JM Rocket jig, a high speed streamlined jig which is perfect for deep water. Select this jig if deep water and high speed are your requirements. Available in 200g to 500g and 4 colours.
Sanme
These handmade Japanese jigs were made famous by Yoichi Mogi. Because they are handcrafted, supplies are scarce but the Sanme jigs are worth waiting for. Devastating on Hapuka, Sea Bass and Kingfish. Available in 650g and 360g.
YGK Galis Ultra Jigman X8
YGK is the best known Japanese braid maker and produces some of the best braids for jigging. The Ultra braids are super thin, strong and smooth - simply the best. The standard Jigman X8 is also smooth and strong, a teriffic braid at an attractive price. All YGK is available in 300m spools only.
Jig Star
This is our own brand of quality braided line (PE). This line is multicolored where each color measures 10m of line. A perfect, medium priced quality braid for jigging and deep bottom fishing. Available in 20lb, 30lb, 50lb, 80lb,130lb and in spool sizes of 300m, 500m, 1000m, 2000m.
